Michael Creed exceeded my expectations every step of the way. From the first step of discussing the design of the table to how to best ship the table he was clear and concise in his communication and very open to my input. I picked him because of the unique pieces I had seen displayed on the Custom Made site. The table he designed for me is beautiful and will be cherished for years to come. He is a very talented craftsmen and I would highly recommend him to anyone that was interested in having him design and build a timeless piece of furniture for them.
"Cartouche Deskette" is a custommade dual function piece that converts from a small side table into a personal writing desk. Sections in the lid interior hold full size stationary and the cubbyholes will accommodate business envelopes .Two middle drawers are full depth to hold pencils, pens, ect. When unfolded and extended, the writing surface is held rigidly horizontal by a folding brass bar held in the brass slot at bottom center. Made of curly cherry, curly maple and wenge with brass hardware. Dimensions : 44" h. ( open )
