This is a Buddhist Tara Mantra carved in black mirrored crystal. I used 10"x12"x1/4" black crystal with 3/4" bevels. It comes with a brushed aluminium base.

I wanted to make sure that the artwork conveyed the Tibetan symbols in a proper an respectful manner and it was important that the symbols have an ethereal floating feel.

I was fortunate to have worked with a Buddhist monk who was kind enough to take my designs to one of her instructors for review.

I designed this art to be back lit with either a candle or sunlight. I find it quite beautiful with a candle.
