Carved Bone Comb Kitty Cat Custom Example
This is an example of the type of comb you can request. The comb ranges between 8" to 10" depending on the workable surface and shape of the bone. The materials used are natural, sterilized and bleached cow bone.
This sleepy little tabby cat is relaxing after a hard day of yarn play! The 8" long comb was all hand carved taking advantage of the natural shape of the bone. Each tooth was hand cut and polished. The details were hi-lighted with a soft sepia color giving the carving depth on the front and the back. There is a rope design carved along the top of the comb while the ball of yarn displays personal carved initials on the front and the carved year on the back. This functional comb has some light striations and formations due to the material being natural bone, but it's very strong.
