is designed to make a statement to any kitchen and liven up dinner parties and movie nights in the home. Crafted from 100% imported wood from central America, the hand selected grain of the wood makes a beautiful impression!
Jatoba is often referred to as 'Brazilian Cherry'. It ranges from an orange to reddish color that will darken over time into a verity of rich reddish-browns. The board is sealed with several treatments of approved, food safe mineral oil. The board will require periodic treatments of food sale mineral oil or beeswax due to wear and use.
Hand Wash with warm water only. Don't leave soaking for long periods of time.
All boards are made from 100% exotic hardwoods, hand selected and shaped, and splined to create an insanely strong bond. Every cutting board will be individually unique as no two trees are perfectly alike, but all equally beautiful! Jatoba ranks 2690 on Janka Hardness scale, which means it is a very dense wood with a tight grain.
An addition can be made to the board to meet your needs: a juice groove, a crumb catcher, or feet for the bottom of the board.
