This solid cast bronze bowl is truly one-of-a-kind. The original is made from palm fronds then pain-stakingly sealed with wax and a sprue assembly is formed. Then using ceramic shell investment we make a mold and burn out the wax. Now we use the hollow ceramic form to pour molten bronze into to get our rough casting. The rough cast is then cut off of its assembly and undergoes hand tool refinements until it is ready for the patina.
