The Catholic Foundation in Dallas, Texas holds an annual competition for a temporary mural to be placed in their downtown Dallas plaza for one year. "Music On Parade" was made specifically for this competition, which I won in 2009. The image is a digital collage of photos of two of my glass mosaic panels superimposed on photos of four of my acrylic paintings.
When the mural came down in 2010, the Music Department at Texas A&M-Commerce paid to have a permanent copy of the mural printed on canvas and installed in the new Music Building in Commerce, Texas. There is a video of this installation available on this site.
