Jacek Ryszka of J.R. Signature Creations built a beautiful hand-peeled rustic log handrail and spindles for our stairs in our home. He sized, chose and ordered the logs from a custom fabricator in Montana and joined the ends of the spindles with tenons and drilled holes in the rails. Then he stained the railings and refinished the stairs. Heirloom work!. I would certainly recommend him.
A chabudai is a short-legged table used in traditional Japanese homes. People seated at a chabudai may sit on zabuton and/or tatami rather than on chairs.
Chabudai are used for various purposes, such as a study table for children, a work bench for needlework, and most importantly, a dinner table for the entire family.
