What a marvelous color! It was love at first sight when I saw this beautiful, chunky, wool yarn in a thrift store. My eyes were roving around, looking for bliss in a skein, when I caught sight of the irregular twist of this yarn. It was still in the wrapper and it's hand-spun. Now it is a lovely hat, with a raised diamond pattern. The picture of the top of the hat shows the unique star/flower it forms. Its crocheted construction makes it stretchy enough to fit just about anyone.
It's a perfect winter hat, big enough to cover your ears, not so big as to slide around on your head.
Since no new materials went into the making of this hat, no sheep had to suffer through winter naked for its sake.
