Cherry, American Lacewood, And Maple Kitchen Cabinets
This kitchen was installed in an energy efficient slopeside home in Warren Vt. The design was an enjoyable collaboration with and the home owners. It began picking out and felling selected cherry and maple before the lot was cleared. The majority of the cherry and maple used in the cabinetry is from material cut on site. Much of the cherry is figured. Live edge and crotch details. American Lacewood is quartersawn from the Huricane Irene fall sycamore shown in the video on my cover page. The Island is a four board live edge bookmatch and has a live edge figured maple foot rest.
