Cherry Bookcase
Overall 70" high, 74 1/2" wide, 12 3/4" deep. Solid black cherry with polymerized tung oil finish.
This bookcase was designed with simplicity in mind, to evoke the Shaker style, to match other pieces in an 1800s upstate home, and to solidly hold a large book collection. Graduated shelving supported by dado joinery on three sides, with the bottom large shelf having extra support. This thing was a beast to move, but makes a great addition to its historic home.
