Yep, a crab pot, just like the ones you see at Tillamook Bay or Nehalem Bay on the Oregon Coast. Except this one hasn't seen the bottom of the bay. Cherry with walnut inlay. Also comes with "silver and gold!" inlays (Okay, really, it's just brass and aluminum...) Outdoor versions are certainly possible, from teak to white oak.
