Hanging a large heavy bookcase over your bed is sure to induce disaster nightmares. Not so in this case. It is mounted from behind with a hidden ledger board screwed into the wall studs with 4" screws. Several other screws were added for additional piece of mind. Sweet dreams.

Made using cherry hardwood, naturally finished with a flat polyurethane. To achieve it's beautiful brown color, it was left to naturally darken in the sun instead of using stains.
