Built in the Shaker style using the same time-honored methods. This box is made from Cherry wood, planed thin and steam bent to form the familiar oval shape. After shaping, drying and sanding, top and bottom pieces are custom formed to fit just this box. The box measures approximately 8 3/4" X 6" X 31/2", it is considered a #4 size. I finish my boxes using an oil varnish that is then hand rubbed to a nice satin sheen.
