This item was designed to coordinate with other pieces of rustic furniture (see the third photo)while providing a place for a TV converter box, DVR, and DVD player. The chest is very narrow because it was originally used in a small bedroom and needed to allow as much aisle space as possible while still providing a function.

The top has a slightly "distressed" look in keeping with the rustic furniture theme.
