Children's Maloof Inspired Table And Stool Set
A handmade table and stool children's set. The table is a sculpted table with a splined center post and the four legs are joined to the table with a mortise and tenon fit to maximize the glue surface area, which results in a strong leg to center post bond. I round over the table top along its edge to remove any sharp corners. The table is inspired by one of the world's greatest woodworkers, Sam Maloof. This table and stool set is made one at a time in our wood shop in South Carolina. The table and stools are constructed out of poplar wood and painted your favorite colors. The approximate dimension of the table is 20" high and the table top is approximately 21" in diameter. The table legs are approximately 1-1/2" thick, and the table top is approximately ¾" thick. The approximate dimensions of the stools are 10-3/4" high, 18-3/4" long, and 11" wide at the seat. The stools are constructed out of approximately ¾" thick material. The stools can be constructed or modified to meet your needs.
The set includes one table and three stools.
