This beautiful heirloom quality sideboard buffet is inspired by a Chinese antique. It is built from solid poplar lumber to the dimensions of 87"wide x 27"deep x 40" height. The counter top of this unit is a full 1 5/8" thick. Even the back of this piece is solid lumber installed vertically in a shiplap fashion. The only plywood used is for the drawer bottoms and interior shelves, but that could be changed to solid lumber if you prefer, for an additional $240.

All the components of this cabinet are secured together with wood glue, screws; and various other traditional wood joints (dados, rabbets, grooves, and mortise & tenon). The drawer boxes are constructed with half blind dovetails.

The unit is distressed and painted by hand, with a myriad of latex & acrylic paint layers. Then top coated with water based polyurethane. The painting on the doors can be done in another landscape design to better suit your fancy.

The hinges and drawer slides have all been upgraded to modern times and function with the integrated soft close mechanism. The ring pulls installed on the drawers and doors have an antiqued brass finish and measure 1 5/8" in diameter.

The total weight of this shipment is between 250 – 300 lbs
