A very popular design! Let me create for you a custom, solid aluminum Chinook salmon sculpture 24 inches long and 10 inches high. Inspired by Pacific Northwest Coast Indian Haida and Tlingit designs. Can complete in 3 to 4 weeks. Has a life-like glass fish eye that taxidermists use.
Take a look at these photos to build your own design. They include a spawning Chinook salmon with red-orange fin accent colors (photos 1 and 2) and blue fin accent colors (photos 3, 4 and 5).
You get to pick (1) right or left-facing direction and (2) accent color on the fins (red-orange, blue, or black like the body).
Order more than one and create your own school! Convo with me if you have any questions. Can complete within 3 to 4 weeks from when you place your order.
Hand shaped and formed from a repurposed, thin aluminum sheet using metalworking chisels, punches, hammers, and mallets. The 25 gauge aluminum sheet was originally to be used for roof flashing.
I paint the traditional patterns with black and red or blue oil-based paints. A copper wire is attached for hanging. Signed by the artist on the back.
You will be amazed at the light weight of the aluminum (no heavy hanging hooks needed) and how its chrome-like, mill-rolled finish reflects the light.
Use and care: This piece is designed to show indoors, or outdoors under cover. Direct outdoor sunlight may cause the inks to fade.
Sent by Priority Mail within the United States, so it will get to you in 2 to 3 days! Due it's large size, cannot ship it internationally (very costly).
