A beautiful example of a Chippendale tilt-top tea table. similiar in style to tables built in Philadelphia from the mid to late 1700's. Its single piece Mahogany top was handcarved . The piecrust edged top is mounted on a carved columnar base with three ball and claw feet. The table has a tilt-top, birdcage mechanism which gives it the ability to revolve, as well as, flip up to be displayed vertically.
Materials : Honduran Mahogany.
