A plain blue hallway is transformed by paint into an outdoor cafe. The church decided to start a coffee house ministry, Common Grounds, and requested an al fresco scene as well as a logo for their ministry. I painted the plain wooden door to look recessed and inset with a stained glass window of the ministry logo. All work was done with brushes, sponges and acrylic or latex paints, then sealed with a non yellowing clear coat.
