The base of the hat is made of buckram with a overlay of matte satin fabric. The hat is detailed with the crown being covered in a delicate floral designed lace encrusted with rice shaped pearls in a darker nude colorization. The wide brim is edged in a shimmering matching satin hand sewn binding with the lace floral design spilling onto it. The crown of the hat is highlighted with matching lace in a scalloped motif.
