This set of 4 coasters is made using 4"x4" Travertine tiles. I hand draw each design on paper and then transfer it onto the tiles using a special transfer medium which is translucent and allows the unique surface of each tile to show through the design. Since every coaster is hand made no two coasters are identical, there are minor differences due to the transfer process and due to each tile having its own unique nooks and crannies!
I've backed each coaster with a cork sheet so it will not scratch your table surface.
Each coaster is well sealed with varnish and can be used for hot and cold beverages, but do not use them as trivets to set your hot pots on. This could damage the transferred design. Please clean with a damp cloth when needed. These coasters are NOT DISHWASHER SAFE.
