Cobra Desk Light

This is another "shop doodle". Sometimes pieces and parts will lay around in the shop for years and then all of a sudden they become a new lamp. This is one of those. This is made from left-over parts from several other projects. The body is hammered copper flex tubing torn from old water heaters and rescued from a salvage yard. The copper base plate is left over from some experiments for a chandelier. The head piece is more salvaged copper tubing and some bronze screen from yet another project. Sometimes it just all makes sense all at once. I guess that is called inspiration.

Materials: Copper, Paperstone, braided wire, hi-lo cord dimmer
Dimensions: 12" high with 5 1/2" diameter base
