This piece was inspired by Alicia Young. The piece was designed around the beautiful and unique features of Alicia. The legs are painted the color Romaine, the color of her eyes. The pink spots on the insert are a representation of the imperfect beauty of her freckles. Pink is also her favorite color.
This piece is meant to be happy bright and uplifting to the viewer it is also attempting to inspire and bring warmth, happiness, peace, contentment, joy, and a sense of connection to something that is true and simple. These traits are how I know and see Alicia and it is my tribute to her.
