Thanks for your interest in this very personal painting process. I use only the BEST in art supplies when I paint these special portraits. This is my favorite part about being an artist, I really enjoy working on these paintings and hope that you will take that journey with me. They are so personal to the client, so unique and absolutely one of a kind. Paintings like these have been done for generations and have been passed down in families for just as long. It is an honor to be a part of that tradition. I have been painting portraits of fuzzy faces and people alike for almost 15 years.
I use the best quality materials in all of my watercolor paintings:

I prefer working from photographs for my portraits. (especially with our furry faced loved ones! They just don't sit still long enough to paint! :-) I would like to review those pictures beforehand in order to choose the best possible reference material. Please keep in mind, I use your photos as a REFERENCE. I am not a photo-realist painter. Yes, your paintings will look just like your loved one, but it will not be exact. And by exact, I mean I don't paint every hair. I have my own style and I think I do a pretty good job creating the personality and vibrance with each painting that I do.
During the painting process, you will receive progress shots, or WIP's of how it is going :-). This involves you, which all my clients like.
Upon completion, the painting is sprayed with a krylon matt varnish, wrapped in tracing paper and then bubble wrap.
I have various sizes available! We can work within your budget :-)
