Contemporary Wall Art
Soft maple strips planed to different thicknesses and cut to different lengths. All arranged in a random pattern with roughly half of them sporting a custom mixed stain. These strips are glued to a 1/2" thick sheet of birch plywood. The entire piece is covered with Chemcraft's pre-catalyzed Varicure product. The piece is mounted to the wall using a "Z-clip" for maintaining a low profile.
