"The Wind Cries Mary." An exquisite one-off original copper weathervane by David Smith.
Lots of beautiful gothic lines and my trademark shards and filigrees that will punish even the most wicked north wind. Natural copper patina with some hints of verdigris oxidation--the copper trying to go back to its natural state--or what the Italian masters called "noble rust." Measures 21.5 inches in length x 11 inches in height, with a wingspan of 18 inches.
This stunning architectural ornament would be the icing on the cake for your roof, cupola, guest house, gazebo, or finial; would also make an elegant statement mounted above a gated entrance or in your garden. It can also be displayed indoors as fine art sculpture or outdoors as a garden accent.
