Corvette In Stained Glass
This hanging stained glass artwork of a corvette is currently for sale.
The artwork is constructed with copper foil. There are many overlays made from lead. The outer edge is zinc came backed by bent steel reinforcement bars for strength. The word "CORVETTE" is sandblasted into black-on-white flash glass. All metal parts have been turned charcoal gray with a chemical patina.
While the overall design is contemporary, the odd shape of the background is taken from a very old Chevrolet logo.
The size of this artwork is 38" wide and 29" high.
