Country Living Collection: Classic Mahogany Console Table
This was a fun custom order that we built for a customer. The table top, which is 24" wide by 38" long was built using Mahogany lumber. The apron, legs and cross supports were built with Red Oak lumber that was painted white per request of the customer. We also include a single drawer to store remote controls, tv guides and other living room accessories with the dimensions of 12" wide by 23" long and approximately four inches deep. The drawer front was made with Black Walnut. To add some color accents to the piece, we added exposed Purple Heart mitered splines in the legs and used Purple Heart for the knob on the drawer front as well. There is an exceptional amount of color and accent pieces added to this table. Once construction was completed, we finished the piece with three coats of water based polyurethane for a beautiful, flawless finish.
