So easy working getting the project details hammered out... The gentleman who made it stayed in tough, easy and pleasant to wrth with. It looks great but I do wish the handles were actual handles. They are about 1/2 inch divit on either side of the board. Should be larger for hands.
This design was fashioned after some lead glass doors from cabinets in my home. The board fits in the top portion of a double wide stainless steel sink.So, chop and drop right into the garbage disposal. Size is slightly restricted when using in a sink. Al pieces need to be proportioned to the others. Wood species used here are maple in the center, red oak on the boarders and mahogany in the divider strips
