Cristina's Chest
When my daughter saw this she said, "Oh Dad - I want that." I said "OK," which means that I won't sell this one. i would happily make another one, though, and I do have wood that is every bit as stunning as this herringbone grained curly cherry. The walnut shows some curl too - it came from Lake County in California. I got the cherry from Horizon Hardwoods in Pennsylvania.
The drawers are hard maple, dovetailed front and back, and they run on hard maple guides. The drawer bottoms are incense cedar.
Dimensions: The chest is 41 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 60 inches tall.
