Live edge (natural edge) maple cabinets with flat catalpa panels. All panels are one piece. Doors must be mitered to make the live edge continuous. Much effort was put into selecting the right pieces of wood for each section of the kitchen, because, although the wood all came from the same tree, there were some pretty awesome colors throughout, from yellow to blue. Lower cabinets have slide out shelves. We were able to salvage the original 3cm granite slabs without damage to replace after these cabinets went in. End panels on boxes are some of the more exciting bookmatches.
