john’s a real craftsman and this bed was made several years ago but is designed beautifully and was very strong and solid. He also added beautiful detailing.
This piece can be used as a small coffee table or as and end table. The top is a small slab of heavily quilted Oregon maple. I created a curved stretcher in cherry to match the curve of the top. I added cherry breadboard ends to punctuate the top as if it were a brush stroke.
