A lot of people like the idea of owning a guitar made from American woods. There are lots of nice choices for back & side woods. Both for tone and appearance. Black Walnut, White Oak, Maple, Hickory, Black Locust, Koa, etc...
I build guitars in my shop in Maine. I use old school methods and design features. Fish glue construction. Wood bindings. Top and back radius of older Martin guitars. More info on request.
