Phil was outstanding to work with. He was extremely helpful with designing the clock stand and not afraid to make his own recommendations. His work was outstanding and we are so happy with the results.
The owner of this antique triple candlestick asked that i make a low base to hold it. Cherry was selected to match other furniture and decor items in the owner's home. I decided to make the holder in a shape similar to the candlestick itself when viewed from above. Carving the top of each lead to the outer cups was rejected because it would pull away from the design of the stick itself and add a a set of non complementary lines and implied vertical motion.
