I make custom Challah boards -- Jewish ceremonial bread boards -- for all purposes and occasions.
These are made of a single piece of quality hardwood, engraved with artwork we design together, and filled with hard resin with you choice of shimmery mica colors.
I've made this to celebrate Bat or Bar Mitzvahs, Kitchen remodeling, retirement, synagogue anniversaries, recognition of teachers. I made one that was a "thank you for inviting us to dinner" gift.
One of the most common celebrations is the growth of a family.
Most challah boards are maple with antique bronze resin. I also have cherry, sapele, red or white oak, and other species.
I work with you to refine what you want. When we have a design, then you pay and I commit to the delivery date, which is usually 1 to 3 weeks.
Shipping of Challah boards in the US is included in the price, as are my design services..
