I was requested to create a special cross for a young family. The cross is a tribute to their new born son who was born a few months early. They wanted the cross to resemble a Monstrance. After talking with the parents, they trusted my skills and creative view on the final look and feel of the piece.
The cross is created out of various steel found objects. All the steel is cleaned and prepped for the welding process. Plus, the steel surface needs to be clean for the paint application. The completed size was 24" wide x 29" high x 10" round base.
Like all my creations, I believe in creating clean, colorful and elegant art.
