Everyone has his favorite animal. This gentleman loved elephants and hired me to make him an elephant quilt. The resulting quilt has five embroidered elephant block, six traditional pieced blocks and four blocks of an elephant fabric. The border and back also is elephant fabric. This was an unusual quilt, but I was able to find fabrics that met his wishes. He loves the quilt which measures 45" X 60" and is a cuddly wrap on cool winter evenings.
