This buyer had a loose green sapphire in a square Asscher cut that she wanted to use for her engagement ring. As a creative designer with an eye for aesthetics she wanted something clean and tailored that mirrored her personal stye. In addition it was important that her wedding band be able to fit perfectly next to the engagement ring.
I set the sapphire in a thin bezel, with the shank split to form vertical supports so the gem was elevated - just high enough so a band would nestle with it.
The wedding band was inspired by a ring she saw online, and we re-interpreted elements of it to match her engagement ring. It has a box detail that evokes the square motif of the bezel set sapphire - and each of the 21 boxes around the finger is set with a tiny diamond. The diamonds are flush-set into recessed craters so the ring is of clean design and highly wearable.
Both rings were produced in Palladium at a cost of $1200 for the engagement mounting and $800 for the diamond band.

Paul has once again, created a work of art. He was patient with me as we went round and round on the design and I am thrilled with the final design. He even found a way to tweak the ring a bit to get the price lowered for me. Anyone that wants a piece of modern and architectural jewelry should be using Paul.
