My client had a beautiful but slighly plain cherry entertainment unit built and asked how we could dress it up. So I pulled details from other ellements of the room and came up with this design. After adding some details and lightly distressing the piece i used both ebony stain and a dark cherry stain for the base, then did some antiquing and the hand painting and a slight rub or sanding to soften or age the artwork and ridges. Finally adding a satin poly finish and the hardware.
