Custom Floor Cloth
This floor cloth was inspired by an Henri Gonse rug, circa 1040s. Heavy canvas is primed, shrunk and hemmed to size. The design is painted on with acrylic paints and sealed with several coats of acrylic sealer. This piece is 16.5' x 11'.
Minimum charge for a floorcloth project is $1000.00. Prices are based on square footage and complexity of design. A simple graphic would be 27-30.00 per square foot, more complex designs would be 30-40.00 per square foot. Floorcloths up to 8 x 8 feet in size can be done in my studio and shipped worldwide, larger cloths will be painted in place, in your home, so travel expenses will be added. A typical cloth will usually take a week to complete.
