Reclaimed Douglas fir and Old growth Cedar is sourced from Pacific Northwest hay barns and naturally patinaed. The wood is selected by hand, cleaned, lightly sanded, and sealed against splinters and dirt. When paired with the rich look of Black Walnut the result is clean, modern, and also warm and inviting.
Configuration |4| has the maximum storage space of any bed we make: six drawers under the platform, six storage cubbies in the headboard, and a 10" deep bench with two adjustable shelves.
This bed is a showcase of exquisite craftsmanship, modern design, and efficiency. The frame and side rails are made of solid North American Black Walnut and the corners on the bench are beautifully dovetailed. Our platform beds are handmade to be cherished and admired for several generations.
A total of 6 floating drawers underneath create a clean and open aesthetic (no clunky drawer boxes on plastic castors under this bed!). The drawers provide more storage than an oversized dresser and glide on a push-to-open ball bearing slides. The bench provides additional storage for books, decor, or even shoes with 2 adjustable shelves.

Customizable Options:
• Paneling choice is customizable to many options even beyond what is shown on the website, please email to inquire about other options.
• A wired Headboard option is available with a total of 4 plugs and 4 USB ports recessed into the headboard. The internal wiring is done with fireproof steel flex cable and terminates to an included flat plug behind the headboard allowing it to be pushed up tight against the wall.
