These fused glass desk accessories were made from a bottom layer of streaky red, orange and yellow glass over white – called Sedona Spirit by the glass manufacturer – with a middle layer of dichroic wavy noodle and small rectangular pieces of matching dichroic glass, and a top layer of clear glass. The three layers were first fused together into a new flat sheet of glass. Then the new flat sheet was reheated in the kiln over a mold that allowed it to form a u-shaped channel.
