The client wanted a matching piece of furniture for the adjacent room to their kitchen that had the same finish, cabinet style and detailing that their current cabinets had but as well wanted it distressed like they found an old antique. They needed to have refrigerator drawers installed in the base of the unit. So we created a design that looks freestanding and houses the drawer units but is actually mounted to the wall so that the base does not have to support the unit because the refrigerator drawers could not do so. The buffet is custom made with all soft close hardware and has LED undercount lighting to light the surface of the buffet.
