Custom Historic Fountain Pen
This project was created for a very special father. His son came to me to produce a fountain pen that would truly be one of a kind. The Materials we selected were all natural materials, and consisted of Black Buffalo Horn, Pre-Ban Elephant Ivory, and Cedar of Lebanon. The Cedar of Lebanon was true witness wood, as it was salvaged from the Montpelier Estate of our fourth president, James Madison. Custom Made Eagle finials were hand cast from sterling silver to match the Rhodium plated body and cap sections. Adorned with a #6 Bock nib and SCHMIDT Piston Convertor. Fathers Initials were laser engraved into the cap. It was an honor to work with such materials for such an amazing project. Shipped with COA from Historic Woods of America and Custom engraved maple Gift box.
