Custom Made Zodiac And Walnut Reception Desk
Corporate design and visual standards were integral to this project. This is the end result of having been contacted, through Custom Made, by a firms facilities department, visiting the site and speaking to the local end users of the product. This desk is the first thing a potential new client sees when he or she walks in. Customer service and the interaction between client and employee were of the utmost importance. The desk had to be warm and inviting yet professional in appearance.
The reception desk is comprised of a steel sub structure clad with Walnut and DuPont Zodiac quartz components. The desk incorporates a built in cable chase which effectively hides all power and data cables, thereby freeing the working surfaces on both the employee and customer side of the desk. Box box file drawer pedestals are on casters and have a gang lock. A shelving pedestal was also requested for the desk, which made it functional in two respects since it also acts as a support for the heavy stone tops.
