I was asked by neighbor to build a sold steel mail box to prevent the local kids for smashing their mail box. So, after talking with the client we came up with a Iron Dog idea for a mail box.
The sculpture is created out 1/4 diamond plate steel. I enclosed the mailbox to protect it. The dog stands the suggest mailbox height and a red dog bone is used as the mail flag marker. I designed the ears and tail to flop around in the wind. A large portion of the sculpture is created using found objects.

The cost was 560.00 w/ installation.


Note: Two other custom mail boxes were - a Mail Man and A Karate Mail Man.
