This was a mug that was created in response to a buyer's request here on Custom Made. I chose stoneware and a glaze she picked out from samples of my work. I carved a stag design on one side and the word she had chosen on the other, and lined them with a blue green glaze, bisque fired the piece. The chosen glazes were then applied and the mug was tied a second time in a glaze fire. The carving was very distinguishabul and the glaze color was beautiful. This was a birthday gift and it arrived in plenty of time. I received a message from her saying he loved it. I was honored to be a part of this process!!
