Custom Pantry Shelving
This client wanted some simple yet durable and effective pantry shelves. I used prefinished Birch plywood with ripped 2"x4"s as braces and supports into the studs. I put 3/4"x3/4" cove molding along the rear of the shelves to hide the gaps due to the walls not being perfectly square. I also added a nice decorative, yet structural molding to the face of the shelves. This hides the plywood plies and also adds strength and rigidity.
