This adorable "modern" baby quilt was made with 100% cotton fabrics. Solid red and blue fabrics are used along with adorable yellow, red, orange, blue and green floweed fabric and yellow fabric with multi-colored "splatters." The back is a rainbow striped fabric as well as smaller squares of the same fabrics as the front in an interesting pattern.

I created this quilt with a "no binding" look for a more modern feel. I layered a lightweight batting between the top and bottom layers, and quilted it all together in a cute, decorative stitch in white. It measures 27 inches by 32 inches. This is the perfect size to place over baby in the carseat to keep her warm, or lay on the floor for tummy time! It would make a unique baby shower gift!

This quilt will shrink and can be washed and laid flat to air dry or tossed in dryer on low. It will get softer with each washing.
