This is a custom frame done for a local benefit so that others can see some of our other framing aspects that can be adapted to their work or photos.
This is made from pine that was in a local fire. We chose it because of the historical factor to the fund raiser. This particular frame has 34 hours of work into it from bare burnt wood to polished and pretty.
It is considered a floating frame with the photo or art sitting between two custom pieces of non glare glass.
The owl you see is was painted by Mary from a photo of owls here in Montana, The other side as you can see has a print of Flathead Lake.
